We need your help!

Every day we see some pretty heart breaking kitty cats wandering the streets of Playa. Mange, fleas, and feline leukemia are big problems here in Playa. Neutering, spaying and vaccines are not affordable for the average Mexican. I have seen more injured and dead animals in a few months than a lifetime in Canada. I held somebody’s cat (she had a collar) in my arms as she died after we watched her get hit by a truck. We have already rescued a dozen cats and host daily feedings for the neighbourhood. But this does not address the problem.

It costs $50 to neuter a male cat here and $200 for vaccines. Presently, we also dispense worm & flea meds for the neighbourhood. This is where you come in. Sponsor a cat today! We need food, litter, cat toys, cat dishes, deworming & flea meds and cash donations for spaying & neutering and vaccines.

There is no SPCA here. So it is up to us to create one. This is why we began our own adoption program here in Playa. Education is all that is needed. Please help us stop the present animal population control method of laying out poisoned food. To date we have neutered / spayed 7 street cats and adopted out 5 to loving homes! Please be a part of our solution.
